Classroom set up

A blog that was written on August 25th, 2016… Finally brought to life.

What happens when your classroom is in chaos and disorganization???

Take everything off of the shelves, and start again!

In my opinion, starting a year with everything in it’s place is a good thing… but it took one whole day to turn that into this:

And now, a clean classroom environment has been created…

Well, until Monday morning when the students come back to school!

Lesson learned: cleaning a disorganized classroom is not a lot of fun, but it makes for a smoother transition into the new school year.

Hope you are having a wonderful experience.

My friend is in teaching school and had a few questions about teaching Chinese literature in China. Do you read Chinese stories to the kids? Do you answer questions about the stories? Do you do something similar for stories from North America?

Hi Lisa. Thanks for the comment. I am having a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, I can not comment on Chinese literature. I teach at an international school that teaches the Alberta, Canada curriculum. Therefore, I teach in English. So, I would teach most things the same way we teach in North America – the only difference for me would be that my class is entirely ESL learners, whereas back home, there would be many native English speakers!
